OnePlus Nord 2 5G has entered the tech market and got launched on Thursday. Some modifications have been made this time in this new model as the earlier model, that is, OnePlus Nord sported quad rear camera along with dual selfie cameras, however, OnePlus Nord 2 5G has triple rear cameras and a punch-hole display with a single selfie camera to capture astonishing selfies.
Obviously, this new device turns out to be a successor of the previous one as it is an enhanced version with immense battery storage, faster charging, and a bigger primary camera. In addition to the launching of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, the Chinese tech company also revealed the OnePlus Buds Pro as its new wireless (TWS) earbuds.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G Price in India and Availability
The starting price of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G has been set at Rs. 27,999 for the base variant of 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. The device also has a higher variant of 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM that is priced at Rs. 29,999 and the top variant of 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM that is priced at Rs. 34,999. The company has launched this device in three color variants, that is, Blue Haze, Gray Sierra, and Green-Wood (India-Exclusive). But there is a catch that the base variant will be available in Blue Haze color only, whereas, 8GB and 12GB variants will be available in both Gray Sierra and Green-Wood color.
Many times, some of the users do not know from where to buy the company’s new products or where these products get launched. So, in terms of availability, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will go on an early access sale in India through Amazon and OnePlus.in and the sale will begin on July 26, 2021. According to sources, the 8GB and 12GB variants will be available for early access sale only for Amazon Prime members via Amazon and OnePlus Red Cable Club members for a limited period of time through OnePlus.in.
However, tech enthusiasts will be glad to hear that the open sale for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will start from July 28, 2021, on Amazon, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Experience stores, and retail partners including Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital, Croma, Bajaj Electronics, Poorvika Mobiles, and Sangeetha Mobiles, among others. Unfortunately, the sale has excluded the 6GB variant and the 12GB variant in Green-Wood color because these two will be available in August 2021.

The dimensions of the device are 158.9 X 73.2 X 8.25mm and it weighs 189 grams. This device runs on the Android 11 operating system along with OxygenOS 11.3 on top. The phones sport a 6.43-inch FullHD+ (1080 X 2400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. Talking about the chipset, then it features an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC and comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor (f/1.88 aperture), an 8MP secondary sensor (f/2.25 aperture) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor (f/2.5 aperture).

These are the premium TWS earbuds from OnePlus and these earbuds come with 11mm dynamic drivers and help in enhancing gaming experience as it delivers a latency rate of as low as 94 milliseconds. It is a total blessing for gamers as it features hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) along with three distinct modes, namely Extreme, Faint, and Smart.
With Extreme mode, the noise cancellation can go up to 40dB, while the Faint mode is meant to cancel the noise of 25dB. Whereas, Smart mode is available to automatically respond to the ambient environment to adjust and compensate for surrounding noises.
