    Ghee is consumed on a large scale in India because of its taste and numerous health benefits of ghee makes it important part of our meals. When regular butter melts then it parts into liquid fats and milk solids, and when milk solids are separated then you are left with ghee. Ghee acts as a delectable food item when added to any food while preparing a recipe and one ingredient that have amazing health benefits when consumed in right quantity.




    People wondering that ghee might ruin their shape but wait let us tell you that consuming one teaspoon of ghee everyday can help you to lose weight instead! After hearing so much about ghee, we’re sure you want to know more such benefits of ghee that you might have not be aware of.



    Health Benefits of Ghee

    Gives relief from Constipation

    Constipation can turn into a major problem if you are regularly experiencing it. The cycle of your digestion process gets disrupted, resulting in complications like Haemorrhoids, Rectal bleeding, Anal fissure (tear in the skin around the anus), Rectal prolapse (a condition in which a part of the rectum sticks out of the anus), and much more. We have a simple remedy which will give you relief from constipation – Taking 1 or 2 tsp. of ghee in a cup of hot milk at bedtime. It is an effective way to get relief from constipation.



    Keeps you warm from within

    Making ‘gajar ka halwa, moong dal halwa, and panjeeri laddoo’ without ghee is impossible if you are a good chef. Although, it is beneficial if you are consuming ghee in winters as it keeps you warm and helps you in surviving winters.

    Decreases Glycemic Index

    In India, if you are visiting your relatives and you are served chapatis without ghee applied to it, then you must be joking because this cannot be possible that you were served chapatis or parathas without ghee spread on it. It is said by many nutritionists that ghee brings down the glycemic index of chapati by a little amount, in addition, ghee makes it moist which is easy to digest.



    Open up clogged nose

    Sometimes a person gets irritated when his nose is clogged and he cannot do much at that moment. But do not worry because Ayurveda has provided us a simple solution for this. According to ayurvedic experts, it is called Nyasa Treatment for cold, it is said that pouring a few drops of pure cow ghee in the nostrils (first thing in the morning) will open your nostrils and it also cures throat infections as it drips down the nostrils and through the throat. Make sure that the ghee is warmed at a lukewarm temperature.



    Good source of energy and improves flexibility

    Ghee provides a lot of energy as it has a high content of medium-chain fatty acids because they are absorbed into the liver and will burn to produce energy. It reaches every joint of the body which helps in lubricating them which leads to increase flexibility.

    Improves your Skin and Hair

    Consuming ghee adds moisture to your skin and brings a glow to the face. Similarly, it nourishes the hair making it shiny, soft and healthy from both inside and outside.
