Jet fuel (ATF) prices were raised by 2% on Thursday, while the rate for commercial LPG, used by hotels and restaurants, increased by Rs 6.5 per 19-kg cylinder. This adjustment follows international oil price trends.
This is the second consecutive monthly rise in jet fuel rates, coming after a 1.2% increase on July 1. Prior to that, there was a significant 6.5% decrease on June 1.
City-Wise ATF Price Hike Details:
- Delhi: ATF price increased by Rs 1,827.34 per kilolitre (1.9%) to Rs 97,975.72 per kl.
- Mumbai: Price raised to Rs 91,650.34 per kl from Rs 89,908.31.
- Kolkata: The rate is now Rs 1,00,520.88 per kl.
- Chennai: The price is set at Rs 1,01,632.08 per kl.

For international flights, the aviation fuel prices are:
- Delhi: $891.80 per kl
- Kolkata: $930.50 per kl
- Mumbai: $891.06 per kl
- Chennai: $886.64 per kl
