Doctor G starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead has collected Rs 3.25 Crores from its Hindi version in India at the box office on day 1. The first-day box office collection of the film is almost double Ayushmann’s previous release’s opening day.
Anek, the previous film of Ayushmann Khurrana in 2022, earned a meagre Rs 1.77 Crores on its first day at the box office. Doctor G has fared much better than that film. However, the numbers are still quite grim as the Bollywood movies struggle to rake in the amount in double digits on the first day of their release.
Doctor G’s 1st-day collection at the box office has given a few indications about what to expect from the film in the upcoming days.
Doctor G Box Office Collection Day 1 and Ahead
The 1st day collection of Doctor G is an acceptable Rs 3.25 Crores. However, the makers would have been hoping for a better start. The movie does see a glimmer of hope of expanding its box office collection in the upcoming days due to the positive reviews it has been getting from all the film critics.
Ayushmann Khurrana starter also features Shefali Shah, Rakul Preet Singh and Sheeba Chaddha in the main roles. It was released in the theatres on 14th October 2022.
