    Poco X2: By Xiaomi is Here. Checkout the Features

    The all-new Poco X2 by Xiaomi is here and the on-paper specifications are capable to appeal to anyone in its price segment. The all-new smartphone will be available for purchase in India starting 11 Feb 2020.




    As per Poco’s General Manager C. Manmohan, the phone is a major step for the company. They aim to give their users the best smartphone experience ever. The phone is supposed to target gamers who want the very best of features for a seamless gaming experience.

    Specifications

    The new Poco X2 comes with Android 10 added with MIUI 11. The company continuing to drive hardware through Xiaomi’s software interface.

    Smooth design that comes with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ screen providing 1080×2400 Px with new RealityFlow supporting 120Hz Display having a 20:9 aspect ratio. 




    This time Xiaomi is more focused more on user experience. Unlike the Poco F1, this time the LCD panel comes with an “Intelligent Dynamic Refresh Rate” technology. The company claims it to be the most viable technology which allows adjustments in refresh rate and enhance the life cycle of the phone.




    The phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC inhibited with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. That fits the statement made by Xiaomi earlier that the phone is designed for gamers.

    For gaming individuals, a 2nd-Gen Game Turbo Mode is introduced to boost graphics rendering. This keeps the background process ordered and removes lagging. 




    Additionally, the smartphone is revealed to have LiquidCool technology to ensure faster cooling and it claimed to have 300% faster than normal cooling systems.

    Camera

    For the camera section, the Poco X2 has a quad rear camera setup having 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 Primary Sensor with an f/1.89 lens. Along with it, one 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens that enables Field Of View (FoV) of 120 degrees. The camera also has one 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. 

    The smartphone embraces features like VLOG Mode, Slow-mo Video Recorder that allows 960fps recording strength and 4K video capturing using the rear camera setup.

    For the front camera panel, A 2-Camera setup consisting of a 20-megapixel primary sensor with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor allowing high-quality selfie pictures have been used.




    Hardware

    Available up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage, the Poco X2 support 4G VoLTE Connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.

    It comes in handy with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Secured with a new “Side-mounted” fingerprint sensor and face unlock, it also has an IR blaster, similar to all the Xiaomi devices.

    Housed with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging, the smartphone will be providing a 100% charge in 68 minutes as claimed by Xiaomi.

    Price Segment

    The new PocoX2 comes in three variant models and Xiaomi has fully focused upon the medium budget audience and maintained their phone’s pricing accordingly.




    6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at INR 15,999 and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option cost INR 16,999. And the other variant having an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage carries a price tag of INR 19,999.

    You can choose from three color options: Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red on the very first Flipkart Sale which goes live at Noon on 11 Feb 2020.
