Varisu, the upcoming Tamil movie which stars Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, is made a massive budget of Rs 200 Crores. The film is costlier than Thalapathy Vijay’s starrer Beast, which was released in 2022. Here we have covered the comparison between Beast and Varisu budget.
Varisu Budget- How much costlier is it from Beast?
Varisu is made at a monumental budget of Rs 200 Crore and is slated to release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi in the theatres on 12th January 2023. The movie has become quite expensive after paying out the salary of cast members. Varisu is Rs 50 Crore costlier than Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast, which was released in 2022 and, unfortunately, did not do great numbers at the box office.
Beast was made at a budget of Rs 150 Crore, which is Rs 50 Crore lesser than the budget of Varisu movie. Thalapathy Vijay charged Rs 80 Crore for Beast but for Varisu he is being paid a huge amount which is much more than his previous pay cheque.
Varisu movie follows the life of a happy-go-lucky man whose world completely changes after the unexpected death of his father. The film is going to be an action thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
