King Teaser Release Date and Time: Shah Rukh Khan’s Big Birthday Surprise Reportedly Coming on November 2

Shah Rukh Khan fans may not have to wait much longer for their first proper look at King. The teaser of Siddharth Anand’s action thriller is reportedly set to release on November 2, which is also Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. If the reports are right, it will be the biggest birthday gift the superstar has given his fans in years.

King is one of the most awaited Hindi films of the year. It marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first film with his daughter Suhana Khan, reunites him with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand and arrives in theatres on December 24. Here is everything to know about the King teaser release date, time and what to expect.

King Teaser Release Date

According to trade reports, the makers have planned the teaser launch on November 2 to mark Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday and kick off the film’s global promotions. However, neither Red Chillies Entertainment nor the director has officially confirmed the date or time yet. Fans should keep an eye on the official social media handles of Shah Rukh Khan and Red Chillies for the final announcement.

King Teaser Time: When Will It Release?

The exact time of the King teaser has not been revealed. Shah Rukh Khan’s big announcements usually go live during the day so that fans across India and overseas can watch them together, and his birthday is always one of the biggest social media days of the year for Bollywood. Once the makers confirm the time, this article will be updated.

What to Expect From the King Teaser

Reports suggest the teaser will introduce Shah Rukh Khan in a completely new avatar, with large-scale action, punchy dialogue and a strong background score. King is said to be built around an assassin story, with Shah Rukh Khan playing a highly skilled killer and Suhana Khan reportedly playing his young apprentice.

Here is what fans can expect to see:

• Shah Rukh Khan’s first full look as King
• Glimpses of Suhana Khan in her first big-screen role alongside her father
• Abhishek Bachchan, who is reportedly playing the main villain
• Siddharth Anand’s signature high-octane action, seen earlier in Pathaan and War
• A taste of the music, with songs by Sachin-Jigar and background score by Anirudh Ravichander

Why the King Teaser Is a Big Deal

Shah Rukh Khan’s last few releases have turned his projects into major events. Pathaan, also directed by Siddharth Anand, and Jawan both became some of the highest-grossing Hindi films ever. King brings him back to the same action space, this time with a story that is reportedly darker and more personal.

The film also has one of the biggest star casts of the year. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, it features Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi and Jaideep Ahlawat. This makes the teaser one of the most anticipated Bollywood videos of the year.
