Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1 is building strong momentum at the ticket window ahead of its release on Thursday, November 5. The film’s opening day advance booking in India has crossed Rs 14.05 crore gross, including blocked seats, with around 2.62 lakh tickets sold across 6,134 shows. Without blocked seats, the film has collected Rs 11.33 crore gross so far.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, Ramayana is already among the biggest pre-sales of the year for a Hindi film, with eight days still to go. Here is the day-wise advance booking report, updated every day till release.
Ramayana Advance Booking Today: Latest Update
| India gross (with blocked seats) | Rs 14.05 crore |
| India gross (without blocked seats) | Rs 11.33 crore |
| Tickets sold | About 2.62 lakh |
| Shows listed | 6,134 |
| Occupancy | 19% |
| Overseas opening day advance | Over $2 million |
| Release date | Thursday, November 5 |
| Paid previews | Wednesday, November 4 |
Blocked seats are tickets held in bulk, usually for corporate bookings or by the film’s team, and may not all turn into actual sales. That is why trade trackers report both figures. The figure without blocked seats is the better indicator of genuine audience demand.
Ramayana Advance Booking Day-Wise Collection
Advance booking for Ramayana opened in India on Dussehra. Here is how the pre-sales have grown since then.
| Date | Days to release | India gross (with blocks) | Tickets sold | Shows |

In the 24 hours till Tuesday night, Ramayana added about Rs 1.03 crore to its advance booking. The film’s show count also jumped from under 4,000 to over 6,100 in the last few days as more theatres opened bookings. Sales usually speed up sharply in the final three to four days before release, so the biggest jumps are still ahead.
Ramayana Advance Booking by Language
| Language | Gross | Share | Shows |

| Kannada | Rs 1.44 crore | 10% | 343 |
| Telugu | Rs 43.79 lakh | 3% | 69 |
The Hindi version is driving most of the sales, as expected. The Kannada version is doing well thanks to Yash, who is one of the biggest stars in Karnataka. More shows in other languages may be added closer to release.

Ramayana is a big-screen spectacle, and audiences are clearly choosing premium formats. IMAX 3D shows are already 57% full, and premium formats together account for about 28% of the total advance gross from just 327 shows. With limited IMAX screens, many of these shows are likely to sell out before release.

Ramayana Overseas Advance Booking
Ramayana’s opening day advance sales overseas have crossed $2 million. North America is the biggest market with $750,000, including $550,000 from premiere shows on November 4. The UK has contributed about $90,000 and Australia over $60,000.
How Ramayana Compares With Other Big Films of 2026
Based on opening day pre-sales without blocked seats, Ramayana is already the fourth biggest Hindi film of the year with eight days to go.
| Film | Opening day advance (India gross) |
|---|---|
| Dhurandhar 2 | Rs 53 crore (final) |
| Drishyam 3 | Rs 31.65 crore (final) |
| Border 2 | Rs 12.5 crore (final) |
| Ramayana | Rs 11.35 crore (8 days to go) |
| Mirzapur The Movie | Rs 9.19 crore (final) |
Ramayana is just about Rs 1.15 crore away from passing Border 2 and should enter the top three within the next day or two. Matching Drishyam 3 and Dhurandhar 2 will depend on how fast sales pick up in the final week.
Why Some Shows Are Still Not Listed
According to trade reports, the revenue sharing issue between the film’s distributors and national cinema chains has largely been settled. Talks are still on with some non-national chains and single screens, which is why the full show list is not live yet. Once these theatres open bookings, the show count and advance numbers could rise sharply.
Ramayana Box Office Opening Day Prediction
Early trade estimates suggest Ramayana could open in the range of Rs 60 crore to Rs 70 crore net in India, including paid previews. More bullish projections put the all-language India opening above Rs 100 crore net. The final number will depend on how many shows are added, the response to paid previews on November 4 and word of mouth on day one. These are estimates and will be updated as advance booking grows.
