The makers of Dhurandhar must be extremely happy after seeing the film’s performance in theatres. In just one week, Aditya Dhar’s directorial has crossed the ₹200 crore mark and is now close to breaking the record of his debut film Uri (₹244 crore). Ranveer Singh’s film is being talked about everywhere—be it Akshaye Khanna’s powerful acting or the gripping storyline that keeps audiences engaged throughout. Dhurandhar has won hearts on all fronts, and its earnings saw a further jump over the weekend. At this pace, the film looks unstoppable.
Dhurandhar has also become the second highest-grossing film of Sanjay Dutt’s career, with KGF Chapter 2 (₹435 crore) still holding the top spot. Even considering his villain roles in Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One (₹116 crore) and Om Shanti Om (₹78 crore), none of Arjun Rampal’s films have crossed the ₹200 crore mark so far. However, for Akshaye Khanna, this is his second such film. Earlier this year, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava broke all records and earned over ₹600 crore.
