Xiaomi launched its new flagship phone Xiaomi Mi 10 worldwide. Manu Kumar, who is the global vice president of Xiaomi, took over the latest webcast on the official website and shared details regarding the new smartphone.
The phone is a successor of the high-end Mi series. Back in 2017, Xiaomi launched Mi Mix 2 and now the company has unveiled its new edition in the series.
The new Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with the latest 5G connectivity technology and Snapdragon 865 SoC chipset. The phone also comes with the new 90Hz refresh rate technology and packs a whopping 108MP quad camera setup.

The new Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with a 6.75-inch full HD+ screen that delivers the 1080×2340 pixel resolution for best in class entertainment. The phone styles itself with a curved AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate which provides enough power to your screen to bring out the natural colors of every image and video.
Adding to this, the phone is said to have a peaky brightness level of about 1100+ nits which house a contrast ratio of 50,00,000:1. This gigantic screen is amazingly crafted in a punch-hole front camera setup that ensures the continuous beautiful flow of the Mi 10 smartphone.
As we go into the OS, the Mi 10 comes with an Android-based MIUI 11 patch, which was launched last week. So previous Xiaomi customers could feel a new setup in this latest phone. Packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, Xiaomi Mi 10 delivers a 5G modem and WIFI 6 connection.
Subsequently, shifting on the hardware section, the phone will run on 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and support internal memory up to 256GB. Also, with this much heavy-duty hardware feature, Xiaomi has coped up with their previous heating issues.
This time, the producers of the smartphone have introduced a new setup called the “LiquidCool 2.0”. It is a vapor chamber that comes with graphite stack and graphene. This is to ensure adequate heat dissipation throughout the phone while using.
Moving to the back, Xiaomi did an appreciable work this time in the camera department. Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with a 108MP quad rear camera setup. Under the hood, you are going to get a 7-element lens added with one 1/1.33-inch sensor that will have OIS support for the best results.
The secondary lens comes is a 13MP wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view and f/2.4 aperture. The following lens is one 2MP lens for depth sensing with f/2.4 and a 2MP, f/2.4 macro lens.
The camera setup allows you to capture high-resolution images and record video up to 8K quality. At the front, you have a 20MP full HD selfie shooter that allows portrait mode and 4K video capture.
Looking towards the battery life, the phone comes with a strong 4,780 mAh battery backup that will support 30W wired and wireless charging. Also, you can wirelessly reverse charge your phone on a 10W power source.
Other prominent features will include a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS/ GLONASS, and without a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pricing and Availability
The Mi 10 comes in 2 variants, Coral Green and Twilight Grey color options. As for the pricing, there are two models. The Xiaomi Mi 10 8GB+128GB model will be priced at Rs 49,999 and Xiaomi Mi 10 8GB+256GB model is priced at Rs 54,999.
