What is Bharat Mart, the New Initiative by India in Dubai?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting the UAE for two days. He’ll join different events and launch Bharat Mart to boost trade between Indian sellers and UAE buyers. It’s like India’s version of China’s ‘Dragon Mart,’ providing storage for small Indian businesses to sell in Dubai. Bharat Mart will be a one-stop platform for Indian exporters to display their goods in the Gulf region.

Similar to Dragon Mart, India’s Bharat Mart is currently in the planning phase and will be launched virtually. It’s anticipated to be up and running by 2025.
