Identifying domestic helpers, drivers, security guards, or delivery personnel will now take just a few clicks. Until now, people had to keep photocopies of Aadhaar cards and manage physical documents to verify staff details, which often raised concerns about security and privacy. However, UIDAI has made this process completely digital and more secure through its new Aadhaar app.
Instant Verification Through QR Code
The biggest highlight of the new Aadhaar app is that no physical documents are required to verify a person’s identity. You simply need to scan the QR code available on the employee’s Aadhaar app, and their identity is verified instantly. This feature is especially useful for domestic workers, drivers, security guards, and delivery staff. UIDAI shared on social media platform X that once the QR code is scanned, official details of the person appear on the screen, eliminating the risk of fake documents or false identity.

Mobile Updates and Digital Convenience
The new Aadhaar app is not limited to identity verification alone. It also allows services such as updating a mobile number, ensuring that employee details remain current and accurate. Digital verification not only saves time but is also crucial from a security point of view. Families can now easily confirm the identity of people working in their homes and avoid unknown risks. This initiative by UIDAI is a major step towards Digital India, as it replaces traditional paperwork with a safer and more convenient digital process.
