On September 16, TVS Motor Company launched the all-new TVS Apache RR 310, its flagship model in the super-premium sports motorcycle segment.

The new TVS Apache RR 310 is built from the same machine that set records at the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), with a best lap time of 1:49.742 seconds and a top speed of 215.9 km/h, according to the company. TVS Motor highlighted that the bike enhances rider experience with an 11% increase in performance and introduces technologies such as a bi-directional quickshifter, RTDSC, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), cruise control, and aerodynamic winglets.

The updated reverse-inclined DOHC engine now generates 38 PS at 9800 rpm and a maximum torque of 29Nm at 7900 rpm. The air intake system has also been modified to improve volumetric efficiency, and, combined with a new lightweight aluminium forged piston, the engine now revs more freely, delivering increased power. It is paired with a bi-directional quickshifter for precise and smooth gear shifts.

Aerodynamic winglets have been designed to generate 3kg of downforce, pressing the front tyre down for superior stability and control during high-speed riding.

Additionally, the upgraded 5-inch vertical TFT race computer provides multiway connectivity and displays information via the TVS Connect App. The RT-DSC system includes a first-in-segment 6D IMU, offering enhanced safety features such as cornering ABS, traction control, cruise control, wheelie control, slope-dependent control, and rear lift-off control. The IMU is also integrated with cornering cruise control, which adjusts the cruising speed based on the lean angle, allowing for longer, more comfortable rides.

Since its initial launch in 2017, the TVS Apache RR 310 has become a symbol of TVS’s racing heritage and research and development prowess.

The new TVS Apache RR 310 is available in two variants and offers three BTO (Built To Order) options. The BTO platform, launched in 2021, allows customers to customise their motorcycles. This new model offers two BTO kits (Dynamic and Dynamic Pro) and one colour option (Race Replica), enabling customers to personalise their bikes further.

The Dynamic Kit includes fully adjustable suspension, tyre pressure monitoring, and a brass-coated drive chain for rust protection and enhanced durability. The Dynamic Pro Kit adds the race-tuned dynamic stability control feature.

Prices for BTO customisation options are as follows:

  • Dynamic Kit: Rs 18,000
  • Dynamic Pro Kit: Rs 16,000
  • Race Replica Colour: Rs 7,000

The TVS Apache RR 310 is available in two colours – the new Bomber Grey and Racing Red with updated livery – and offers four riding modes: Track, Sport, Urban, and Rain.

Pricing for the new TVS Apache RR 310 models is as follows:

  • Red (without quickshifter): Rs 2,75,000
