Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s film ‘Sky Force’ is finally in theaters after a long wait. Released on January 24, the film has received a lot of appreciation from the audience. It had a fantastic opening on its first day, earning the title of Akshay Kumar’s third highest opening film in his career. On the second day, ‘Sky Force’ continued to dominate the box office.
According to the film’s production house, Maddock Films, ‘Sky Force’ earned ₹15.30 crore on its opening day at the domestic box office. On the second day, the film gained momentum with the weekend boost, earning ₹21.50 crore on Saturday. With this, the total collection of Akshay Kumar’s film after two days stands at ₹36.80 crore.
Highest-Grossing Film of 2025
The action-packed film ‘Sky Force’ has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 with its two-day collection. Earlier, on January 17, Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ and Rasha Thadani’s ‘Azad’ were released. While ‘Emergency’ has earned ₹15.55 crore so far, ‘Azad’ has only made ₹6.77 crore. Before that, Sonu Sood’s film ‘Fateh’ was released on January 10 and managed just ₹12.86 crore at the box office.

Budget of ‘Sky Force’
Directed by Sandeep Kevalani, ‘Sky Force’ is an action thriller. Several media reports suggest that the film’s budget is ₹160 crore. Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya are seen performing aerial stunts in the film. This is Veer Pahadia’s Bollywood debut, and alongside him, Sara Ali Khan and Diana Penty play significant roles in ‘Sky Force’.
