Shock Price! 2026 Tata Punch Facelift Starts at Just 5.59 Lakh

Tata Motors has once again created excitement in the Indian automobile market with the launch of the 2026 Tata Punch Facelift. This marks the first major update for the popular micro-SUV, bringing significant improvements in design, technology, and safety. The facelifted Punch starts at an introductory price of ₹5.59 lakh (ex-showroom), and bookings have officially opened from today.

Refreshed and More Premium Design

The 2026 Tata Punch facelift receives a noticeable exterior makeover. It now features updated LED headlamps, a blacked-out front grille, new LED DRLs, a redesigned front bumper, and LED tail-lamps at the rear. The top variants also get new 16-inch alloy wheels, giving the SUV a more sporty and bold road presence.

High-Tech Cabin with Advanced Features

The interior has also been significantly upgraded. The new Punch comes equipped with a 26.03 cm Ultra-View HD touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless smartphone connectivity. Other premium features include a wireless phone charger, auto-dimming IRVM, IRA connected car technology, paddle shifters, and a CNG AMT shifter. The SUV offers a boot space of 210 litres, which is considered competitive in its segment.

No Compromise on Safety

Safety has always been a strong point of the Tata Punch, and the facelift makes it even better. All variants now come with 6 airbags as standard, reinforcing its strong 5-star GNCAP safety credentials. Higher variants additionally offer a 360-degree HD camera, blind view monitor, electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Powerful Engine Options

As per leaked information, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift may introduce a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Alongside this, the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and iCNG variants are also expected to continue.
