Shark Tank India Season 3 is arriving soon on SonyLIV and ahead of the release of the show, the channel has announced three new Sharks who will join the Tank. A total of 9 Sharks will evaluate various businesses and deals to present the investment opportunities for the budding entrepreneurs in the third season of the show.

1- Ritesh Agarwal
Ritesh Agarwal is the founder and CEO of OYO Rooms. In 2011, he initiated an Airbnb equivalent called “Oravel Stays.” He participated in the accelerator program Venture Nursery in 2012 and became one of the recipients of the 2013 Thiel Fellowship, which awarded him a grant of $100,000. The company was officially launched as OYO Rooms in May 2013.
As of September 2018, OYO Rooms had successfully raised $1 billion in funding. Additionally, in July 2019, it was reported that Ritesh Agarwal purchased $2 billion worth of shares in the company, tripling his ownership stake. He has also been recognized for his achievements by being featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Asia.
2- Deepinder Goyal
Deepinder Goyal is the founder and CEO of Zomato, India’s largest food delivery app. Zomato, initially established in 2010 as a restaurant review platform, has evolved into a publicly traded company renowned for its food-related services across more than 1,000 cities in India. Throughout its journey, the company has become known for its unwavering commitment to efficient execution, meticulously designed products, and memorable marketing campaigns that often become internet sensations.
3- Azhar Iqubal
Azhar Iqubal, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi, serves as the co-founder and CEO of Inshorts, a widely used news aggregation app. At the age of 30, he, along with Deepit Purkayastha and Anunay Arunav, initially launched Inshorts as a Facebook page.
