    The 13th day of Paris Olympics 2024 was quite spectacular. While the Indian hockey team won the bronze medal in the evening, the countrymen were eagerly waiting for 11:45 pm, where India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra was going to get another medal for the country by throwing the javelin. This wait ended at 01:22 in the night, when Neeraj Chopra succeeded in getting another medal for India. Late night the whole country was immersed in celebration as the golden boy won the silver medal for India.

    Neeraj Chopra Javelin Throw Final Highlights

    12 athletes threw the javelin in the first three rounds. Neeraj Chopra came at number eight to throw the javelin. His first round was a foul. After this, in the second round, Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem made an Olympic record by throwing 92.92 meters javelin and came in first place. In the second round, Neeraj Chopra also made the best throw of his season by throwing 89.45 meters javelin and came in second place. After this, Neeraj got the next three rounds declared foul, after which he confirmed his claim for the medal and was successful in winning the silver medal for the country.

    Neeraj means medal guarantee

    Neeraj Chopra, who created history by winning the gold medal in Tokyo 2020, will return home with a silver medal this time. With this, he has joined the select Indian players who have won medals twice in the Olympic Games. Before Neeraj, this achievement was achieved only by Norman Pritchard, Sushil Kumar, PV Sindhu and Manu Bhaker. The special thing is that Manu Bhaker has also increased the pride of the country by winning two bronze medals in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

    Every night the whole country sleeps peacefully, but the 13th day of Olympics 2024 was not like this. The whole country was watching Neeraj Chopra’s match intently on the screen. As soon as Neeraj won the silver medal for the country at 01:22 pm, congratulatory messages started coming to him from all sides. Many people including his mother, PM Narendra Modi, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah messaged.
