Nothing Phone (1), a highly anticipated smartphone created by the Nothing organisation, founded by Carl Pei, has announced that it will launch the phone simultaneously in all parts of the world. In India, Flipkart has secured exclusive rights for selling the phone on their online store whenever it gets released in 2022. Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, left his famous smartphone company to venture on a different path by establishing his own company, Nothing, in January 2021.
Nothing Phone (1) will most likely hit the Indian markets in either July or August, as confirmed by the Vice-President and General Manager, Manu Jain of the Nothing organisation. Nothing Phone (1) is already in the testing stage in India, and the smartphone has also gotten clearance from the Bureau of Indian Standards. Soon, the official announcement regarding the launch date will be made public.

Since the official announcement is yet to be made, only a few essential things are known about the smartphone. It will harbour a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, but it remains to be seen which specific chipset the phone will use. Nothing official announced its partnership with Qualcomm in October 2021.
Nothing’s first smartphone will run on its own Nothing OS based on Android 12. Nothing promises to deliver a fluid and smooth user interface. Other than that, no official information is known about the smartphone. However, as soon as something comes to light, we will keep you updated.
