Bollywood actor Govinda is currently in the ICU after being injured by a gunshot. This incident occurred around 4:45 AM on Tuesday as he was preparing to leave for Kolkata. The accident happened when his licensed revolver misfired while he was putting it away. He was rushed to CRITI Care Hospital for treatment.
How is Govinda’s Condition?
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, informed the news agency ANI that the actor was getting ready to travel to Kolkata when the incident took place. The gun fell from his hand and accidentally fired. Doctors have successfully removed the bullet, and his condition is stable. He remains hospitalized. The manager also expressed gratitude, stating it was a blessing that Govinda only sustained a leg injury and that nothing serious occurred.

Wife Not Present at Home
According to reports from Aaj Tak, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, was not in Mumbai at the time of the incident. As soon as she learned about it, she immediately left for Mumbai and is expected to arrive within the next two hours.
