They have launched this B2B platform to compete with rising platforms such as Udaan and IndiaMART and more. These platforms have shown much potential growth since their launch.

Their business model is to cater to the business who deals in wholesale. Currently, only clothing items are available on the platform and more products would be added soon.

The categories that they are selling wholesale products are men’s wear, women’s western wear, women’s ethnic wear, kids’ wear, and footwear.

The delivery option for 15 locations is made available by Flipkart and the option to pay with a credit card or debit card is also available. This all makes it easy for someone to do business with Flipkart Wholesale.

They are providing a huge discount on more than 50 fashion Brands and would add 100 sellers to their platform for catering to the expected bulk demand of goods.

Flipkart Wholesale began operations earlier this month. “The upcoming festive season is a great opportunity for retailers and MSMEs to boost sales and profitability. We see this as an opportunity for the whole retail ecosystem to come together, lift consumer sentiment and drive business growth for local MSMEs across the country,” said Adarsh Menon, Senior Vice President, and Head – Flipkart Wholesale & Walmart India.
