The trailer for Doctor Strange appeared as a post-credits sequence in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
According to the trailer, Patrick Stewart appears in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Although, it’s a typical Marvel Studios tactic to conceal who Stewart is portraying.
Since Kevin Feige stated that the X-Men would be included in the MCU, it’s difficult to conceive who else Stewart would portray if not Professor Xavier. The mysterious voice says, “We should give him the truth,” which indicates that there are others in the room with him.
Filming occurred between November 2020 and April 2021, with a brief interruption owing to tighter restrictions in the United Kingdom. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theatres on May 6, 2022.
Perhaps, it implies that the sequel will now be released a year after its original May 7, 2021 release date, which was subsequently moved back to March 25, 2022. Hopefully, this revised date will be adhered to.
