    5 Top Places to Travel After The Lockdown Ends

    The Coronavirus pandemic has restricted the whole country inside their homes, even the non-travelers are searching for top places to travel after lockdown, and travelers? we can feel you! Yes, the situations are grim and the only thing we can do is to pray and hope for the best. But, new conditions and scenarios are coming are seen during Unlock 1.0. 

    So it’s a mild relief and we could dream about the places we could have traveled during this time. Since, any international traveling would be impossible, going abroad is not an option. This leaves us to some of the places in the country which are still pure and untouched of COVID-19. 

    To help you out, we have collected the list of top places to travel after the lockdown in 2020.

    Parvati Valley

    Parvati Valley comes on the first position of our countdown because of its exceptional natural habitat. Located in the Himachal Pradesh, Parvati Valley is popular for the mountain ranges, trekking fields, and paragliding sports. It is also one of the most visited travel places of 2019. 

    Places to visit: Kasol, Tosh, Rudra Nag Waterfall, Pin Valley National Park, Manikaran, Chalal, and Rasol.

    When to Visit: June to August.

    How to Visit: Travelers can reach Delhi and get to the nearest station of the Valley which is Bhunter. A direct bus facility is available via Delhi to Bhunter. 

    No. of days of stay: 4 days. 

    Travel Expense (Per Person): Rs 4,000- Rs 7,000. 



    Allepey (Alappuzha)

    Allepey is also one of the most recent upgrades in the Indian travel community. This coastal land area in Kerala is famous for its houseboats, beaches, and huge pineapple and coconut trees. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starring 2019’s “War” was also shot here. 

    Places to visit:  Nehru Trophy Boat Race, Alappuzha Beach, Allepey Backwaters, Pallippuram, and Revi Karunakaran Museum.




    When to Visit: July to October.

    How to Visit: The best mode to visit is by train to Allepey station. The nearest airport to Allepey is Cochin.

    Travel Expense (Per Person): Rs 6,000 -Rs 7,500.

     

    Coorg (Madikeri)

    Coorg is another great deal if you want to spend some time near the wildlife. This little town in Karnataka is famous for its authentic natural sights, vast wildlife, world-famous coffee and the famous ethnic warrior community of Coorg called the Kodavas.

    Places to visit: Onkareshwara Temple, Abbey Falls Madikeri Falls, Dubare, Raja’s Seat, Madikeri Fort, Wildlife sanctuary, and Barpole river water rafting.




    When to Visit: July to September.

    How to Visit: The best way to visit Coorg is by road. Direct bus facility is available via Bangalore, Mysore, and Mangalore. The nearest train station is Mysore while the nearest airport is Bangalore.

    Travel Expense (Per Person): Rs 4,000 – Rs 7,000.

     

    Mawlynnong

    Mawlynnong, Meghalaya is honored as the “Cleanest Village in Asia”. Polished roads and streets, spotless front-yards, and clean sidewalks give an impression of high-end cities. The town is situated on the border of the India-Bangladesh border which is also a great viewpoint for visitors. 

    Places to visit: Living Root Bridge, Balancing Rock, Umngot River: Dowki, Malana, NohKaLikai Falls, and Byrdaw Falls. 




    When to Visit: June to August

    How to Visit: The nearest train station is Guwahati. You can take cabs or buses via Shillong to the town. 

    No. of days of stay: 4 days. 

    Travel Expense (Per Person): Rs 3,000 -Rs, 4,500. 

     

    Sandakphu

    Sandakphu is the heart peak of Darjeeling, West Bengal. It is the highest peak (3,636 meters) in West Bengal and contributes to the top 4 highest peaks in the world. The place is quite famous for the trek lovers who want to give their life a new journey with some of the best amazing views on this breathtaking summit in India. 




    Places to visit: Trekking summit, Everest Peak, Kanchenjunga Peak, Phalut, Tumling, Meghma and Tomlu.

    When to Visit: July to December.

    How to Visit: Flights available to Bagdogra (Siliguri). Then, buses are available for Sandakphu. 

    No. of days of stay: 5 days. 

    Travel Expense (Per Person): Rs 4,500 – Rs 6,000.
