Examine the health benefits of drinking, including the difference in calories between wine and beer. You’ll never see a large glass the same way again.

Because the FDA does not mandate nutrition information on alcoholic beverages, determining how much a beverage will cost your diet plan is tricky. This is unfortunate because beverage corporations modify their marketing strategies to mislead consumers into believing their alcoholic beverages are superior to others. We don’t believe them, and you shouldn’t either.

Every beverage, either beer, wine, or liquor, has some combo of alcohol calories, sugar calories, and occasionally fat calories. With simple 3rd grade math and a table of conversions, one may quickly calculate calories in beer or wine and discover that a vodka soda isn’t the only diet drink available.

    Benefits of Drinking Red Wine:

A drink (or two) a day can be good for your health and mental well being. Although, Consuming red wine in moderation has been demonstrated in studies to reduce your risk of cardiovascular illness and cancer. Men should limit themselves to three standard drinks per day, while women should limit themselves to two. A normal drink is equal to two-thirds of a small can of ordinary beer (220ml), a glass of red wine (100ml), or one pinch of spirit (30ml).

Wine includes chemical molecules known as natural phenols, which can be flavonoids or non-flavonoids. Flavonoids, which are found in red grapes, are antioxidants that help lower the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and age-related debilitating disease.

Tannins are flavonoids that can be discovered in grape skins, nuts, and stems. Tannins, a natural antioxidant in wine, are thought to help lessen the risk of heart disease. Resveratrol, a form of non-flavonoid of the stilbenoids family, is a found naturally antioxidant. It is contained mostly in grape skin; red wine contains more resveratrol than white wine. Resveratrol is thought to reduce the viscosity of blood cells and aid blood arteries to stay open and flexible, lower blood pressure.

Wine includes polyphenols, which are protectors in addition to natural phenols. Polyphenols are thought to lower overall blood pressure and cholesterol, reduce cancer risk, and affect the immune system. They are also antibacterial.
