Poco M4 5G will be available in India on April 29, according to Xiaomi spin-off Poco. The nomenclature suggests that the M4 5G will be a scaled-down counterpart of the Poco M4 Pro 5G, which was just introduced in India. Poco is getting things off by showcasing the layout of the Poco M4 5G. The smartphone appears to have a rough back and a Pixel 6-like rectangular-shaped lens arrangement with two sensors. Poco will at least provide it in blue and distinctive yellow colorways.
At the time of publishing, not much is available about the phone’s architecture, but Poco should divulge more details in the days before the release. For comparison, the Poco M4 Pro boasts a 6.6-inch 1080p IPS Lcd screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz (240Hz touch sampling) and a hole blow cut-out.

Poco boasts about the device’s design and claims that it will deliver good performance. Apart from the appearance, the teaser provided on Twitter does not reveal the handset’s crucial specifications. It reveals that the Poco M4 has only two rear cameras, which is a compromise. The Poco M3, its predecessor, has a triple rear camera setup.
According to reports and leaks, the gadget will have specifications identical to the Poco M3 Pro 5G version. The Poco is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It may be outfitted with a 6.58-inch touchscreen that runs at Full HD+ quality. A dual-camera arrangement in the back could include a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The brand appears to be abandoning the ultra-wide-angle sensor. The device may sport a 5-megapixel sensor on the top.
The Poco M4 5G is also expected to come with a standard 5,000mAh battery. The company may offer 18W charging capability. It is unclear whether Poco will include a 10W or 18W charger in the retail packaging. It is expected to come pre-installed with Android 12.

Price of the Poco M4 5G in India
Given that it contains a 5G chip, the Poco M4 is anticipated to be priced under Rs 15,000 category. As per rumors, the low-cost smartphone could cost approximately Rs 12,000, which is plausible based on the specifications.
