Why Prime Video Renewed Reacher So Early
The numbers explain it. According to Prime Video, Season 4 drew 66 million viewers worldwide in its first 28 days, which puts it among the platform’s five biggest seasons ever. Nearly 60% of that audience watched from outside the United States, showing how well the show travels internationally.
Across all four seasons, Reacher has now crossed 200 million viewers since it first premiered in February 2022. For a streaming service, that kind of steady global audience is hard to find, so locking in more seasons early makes sense.
The renewal also lets the production team plan further ahead. Season 5 went into filming only weeks before Season 4 premiered, and ordering Season 6 now gives Nick Santora and the writers time to start work on the next story while Season 5 is still being shot.

Reacher Season 6 Cast
