    NEET-UG Announced For September 12, Gear Up Medical Aspirants

    The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET is an all-India pre-medical entrance test. This test is for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.)

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). This announcement declares that the test will take place on September 12. Candidates who appear for the NEET-UG 2021 can check the exam center city on NTA’s official website – neet.nta.nic.in.

    NTA had increased the number of test cities this year to ensure social distancing amid Covid-19. There was an increase in the number of cities from 155 to 198. There will also be an increase in the number of examination centers.

    Candidates [students] aspiring to sit for the NEET examination should note that the NEET exam cities will be allotted based on their preference in the application form. Compared to last year’s, the exam authority has increased the exam cities and centers.




    How Does One Find The Exam Centre?

    Here’s how you can check NEET Exam Centre 2021

    1. Log on to NTA’s official website – neet.nta.nic.in

    2. Click on the link ‘View Advanced Information for allotment of Centre City.

    3. Then, enter the NEET 2021 application number, date of birth, and password.

    4. Submit and view the allotted NEET exam center city.

    What Will The NEET Test Pattern Be?

    The test pattern of NEET (UG)-2021 comprises two sections. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions, and section B will have 15 questions. Out of these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any ten questions.

    Application Deadline

    NTA had extended the application deadline for NEET-UG 2021 from August 6 to August 10.




    Admit Card and Examination Date 

    They will issue the NEET admit cards on September 9th, three days before the scheduled date of the exam (12th September 2021). They will hold NEET-UG 2021 Exam for three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
