Operation Sindoor: Indian Air Strikes Destroy Jaish, Lashkar, and Hizbul Mujahideen Bases – These Locations Were the Hub of Terror Activities

Under “Operation Sindoor,” the Indian Air Force carried out air strikes on nine terror camps belonging to the banned outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

    Terror Camps Destroyed

According to officials, the precision strikes targeted key terror sites, including:

    • Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur,
    • Sarjal in Tehra Kalan,
    • Markaz Abbas in Kotli, and
    • Syedana Bilal Camp in Muzaffarabad,
all affiliated with the banned group Jaish-e-Mohammed.

    For Lashkar-e-Taiba, the targets included:

    • Markaz Tayyaba in Muridke,
    • Markaz Ahle Hadees in Barnala, and
    • Shwai Nala Camp in Muzaffarabad.

Additionally, camps and training centres belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen, such as

    • Maqaz Raheel Shaheed in Kotli and
    • Mahmuna Zoya in Sialkot,
      were also hit.

    Total 9 Targets Struck

Out of the nine camps targeted, four were located in Pakistan, while the remaining five were in PoK. Sources revealed that, along with logistics support, Pakistan’s military and ISI were using the services of the Special Services Group (SSG) to train terrorists at these camps.

    Defence Ministry Statement

The strikes were carried out nearly two weeks after the brutal killing of 26 civilians by terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir.

At 1:44 AM, the Indian Ministry of Defence released an official statement saying,
“Moments ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ to neutralise terrorist infrastructure located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from where terror operations against India were being planned and directed.”

The ministry emphasized that the action was “precise, calibrated, and non-escalatory,” and confirmed that no Pakistani military installations were targeted.
