WhatsApp to Stop Working on These Android Phones from January 1, 2025 – Full List Revealed

WhatsApp is the world’s most popular messaging app, with nearly 2 billion monthly active users. It helps people stay connected with family, friends, and colleagues. However, as WhatsApp continues to introduce new features and updates, some older devices will no longer support the app.

Starting January 1, 2025, more than 20 Android smartphones will lose access to WhatsApp. This change affects devices running outdated software, particularly Android 4.4 (KitKat) or earlier versions.

    Why Is WhatsApp Ending Support?
According to a report by HDblog, Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, is discontinuing support for these older devices to enhance security and performance. Most affected phones are nearly a decade old and no longer compatible with the latest features. While this move makes sense technically, it may concern users still relying on these older devices.
