This growth can be partly attributed to the emergence of 97 new billionaires, including notable individuals such as Taylor Swift, NBA legend Magic Johnson, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Furthermore, 14 out of the top 20 richest people globally are U.S. citizens, with eight among the world’s ten wealthiest also originating from the U.S., although it is noteworthy that the richest individual worldwide is French rather than American.
