Saw X is estimated to be made on a budget of US $15 Million. In April 2021, there were reports that a tenth movie in the Saw franchise, known as Saw X, was being developed by Twisted Pictures. The script for the film was finished in December 2021, as confirmed by the writers Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger, who had previously worked on Jigsaw and Spiral.
