Varun Dhawan’s highly anticipated action film Baby John is gearing up for its release, and the buzz around the movie is stronger than ever. Recently, the film made headlines for its cast salaries, with reports about the impressive paychecks circulating online.
For Varun, Baby John marks one of the biggest projects of his career, and the actor reportedly took home his highest paycheck yet—an astounding ₹25 crore for his leading role in the film.
The report also highlighted the earnings of other cast members. Veteran actor Jackie Shroff earned ₹1.5 crore, while Rajpal Yadav was paid ₹1 crore. Sanya Malhotra received ₹1 crore as well, and Wamiqa Gabbi’s fee was ₹40 lakh.

However, what truly surprised fans was Salman Khan’s involvement in the film. The superstar performed a high-octane cameo in the action thriller—completely free of charge.
In a recent media interview, producer Atlee revealed how Salman Khan agreed to the cameo with no persuasion needed. Atlee shared, “It was just an initial discussion between me and Murad (Khetani) sir. I told him, ‘Sir, towards the end, I need a cameo. Should we ask Salman sir?’ He said, ‘Okay.’”
Atlee continued, “The next morning, Murad sir called me and said, ‘Salman has agreed to do the cameo.’ I was shocked because I hadn’t even prepared a scene for it yet. I had to quickly start working on it.”
Murad Khetani added, “I didn’t even need to convince him. During a casual phone conversation, I mentioned, ‘Bhai, we’re thinking of a scene with you in Baby John.’ He immediately said, ‘Done. Let me know when I should come.’ The conversation lasted no more than ten seconds.”
With such an exciting cast lineup and Salman Khan’s unexpected cameo, Baby John promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience.
