UPI Payment is being used rapidly in India. If you also make UPI payments, then this is very important news for you. Actually, it will not work on August 4. However, this is only for HDFC Bank users. The bank has issued a scheduled downtime alert. But the time has been fixed for this. According to the notification issued by the bank, system maintenance work will be done from 12:00 AM to 03:00 AM.

During this time all online payments will be closed. Its interval will be 180 minutes. That is, you will not be able to make UPI payments for about 3 hours. This is going to affect all bank users. During this time, both savings and current account holders will not be able to make transactions. Many UPI services will be unavailable on 4th August due to maintenance work, also includes access to many third party apps.

These apps will be affected

During the service, it is also going to affect the apps, with the help of which users make UPI payments. This includes HDFC Mobile Banking App, GPay, WhatsApp Pay, Paytm, Shriram Finance and Mobikwik. However, this will not affect the transactions done with the help of POS and you will be able to use it easily. HDFC Bank UPI service will be unavailable on 4th august due to maintenance work.

System maintenance work is done from time to time

Please note that due to technical flaws and updates related to the bank, system maintenance work is done from time to time. It takes 3 to 5 hours. In such a situation, customers get a message from the bank in advance that during that time the apps related to the bank will not work or they may face technical problems. Also, there may be a problem in transactions.
