Twisters, directed by Lee Isaac Chung with a screenplay by Mark L. Smith from a story by Joseph Kosinski, is an upcoming American disaster film. Produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, it serves as a standalone sequel to the 1996 film Twister. The movie features Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos in leading roles.

Twisters is set to release in the theaters on July 19, 2024, courtesy of Universal Pictures in North America and Warner Bros. Pictures internationally.
Twisters Movie Budget
Principal photography for the film, with an estimated budget of $200 million, began in May 2023 in Oklahoma City. Filming was scheduled for 40 days at Prairie Surf Studios and 50 days in various locations across metro Oklahoma City, including Chickasha, Okarche, El Reno, Spencer, and Cashion. However, filming was halted in July due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Production resumed after the strike concluded in November 2023, and filming wrapped up the following month.

Twisters Movie Plot
