Tension increased for millions of iPhone users, due to this new bug deleted photos came back

Apple recently rolled out iOS 17.5 update for millions of its iPhone users. After the arrival of this update, the security of the device has become better than before. Besides, users have also got many new features in iPhone. However, apart from these new features, many users are facing a bug. Many users have reported the bug after the iOS 17.5 update on the social media platform Reddit. Users have started seeing year’s old deleted photos in their iPhone.

According to the report of Macrumors, Apple iPhone users have started seeing deleted photos from 2021 in Recently Uploaded Photos. Users reported that when they updated their iPhone with the new iOS 17.5, they started seeing old deleted photos in iCloud Photos. A user reported on Reddit that four photos from 2010, which he had deleted several times, have started appearing again in his gallery.

However, this problem is not of any one iPhone user. This problem has surfaced in the iPhone of many users. His old deleted photos are back in the gallery. However, Apple has not yet made any comment regarding this problem faced by users’ iPhone.

Apple has a standard process for managing deleted photos in iCloud. Many deleted photos remain in the Recently Deleted section of iCloud for 30 days. Till then, if the user wants, he can recover that photo and bring it back to his gallery. However, after the iOS 17.5 update, users have started seeing photos older than 30 days.

It is believed that there is a bug in the iOS 17.5 update file, due to which there is a problem in syncing the local device and iCloud Photos, due to which users are facing this problem. Even before this, Apple had fixed the photo sync bug in iOS 17.3. There are speculations that a similar bug has occurred again in iCloud.
