When and Where Will ‘Sarfira’ Be Released on OTT?
Amidst good buzz and high expectations, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’ has been released in theaters today (July 12). Along with this, there is also discussion regarding the film’s OTT release. People are curious to know on which platform and when this film will be released on OTT. According to recent reports, Disney Plus Hotstar has secured the OTT rights for ‘Sarfira’. Following the pattern of Bollywood films like ‘Maidaan’, ‘Laapata Ladies’, and ‘Madgaon Express’, ‘Sarfira’ is expected to make its digital debut approximately two months after its theatrical release, possibly by the end of August. However, there has not been an official announcement regarding the film’s OTT release yet.

‘Sarfira’ vs. ‘Indian 2’
It should be noted that Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’ will face tough competition at the box office from Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’. Comparing the advance bookings of both films, ‘Indian 2’ has seen a massive pre-ticket sale, while Akshay’s ‘Sarfira’ is lagging behind. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the film a U (Universal) certification after removing some objectionable words. The runtime of the film is 155 minutes.
