Ram Navami 2024: Ayodhya Ram Mandir to Open 24×7 for 3 Days; Know the Full Steps for Darshan

Ayodhya's Ram Mandir will open for 24 hours a day for three consecutive days on the occassion of Ram Navami.

It has been decided that on April 16, 17 and 18, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be open 24×7 and devotees can do the ‘darshan’ at any time during those three days. The Ram Navami celebration from Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir will also be broadcasted on Bharati TV channel.

The preparations for Lord Rama’s birthday celebrations have begun in Ayodhya. After the installation of Lord Rama’s idol in the temple, preparations are underway for a divine birthday celebration. The efforts of the temple trust are aimed at ensuring that as many Ram devotees as possible can easily have darshan.

   

In this regard, a meeting was held at the Maniram Das Chhawni of the Ram Temple Trust, chaired by the Secretary-General Champat Rai of the Ram Temple Trust. An outline has been made to make the first Ram Navami in the magnificent temple divine and grand.

For devotees to see the Lord: 7 lines

Champat Rai mentioned that there will be 7 lines for darshan at the Ram Temple. Until now, darshan has been conducted in four lines, but it will increase to seven lines for the devotees to have the Lord’s darshan.

Do not bring mobile phones; darshan will be quick

The Secretary-General of the trust stated that taking mobile phones during darshan is prohibited. It takes considerable time to change adornments and prepare offerings, hence darshan will be conducted in 7 lines.

Arrangement for water and ORS

Efforts are being made by the Ram Temple Trust to provide relief to devotees during the heat. Arrangements for water distribution and ORS booths near the temple are being made to combat the heat.

Temple open for 24 hours for 3 days

The decision to keep the temple open 24 hours for three days during Ram Navami has already been made. People are requested to celebrate Ram Navami at their homes.

Arrangement for sitting in darshan lines

Alongside the temple construction, arrangements are being made for seating in various areas for darshan. Efforts are also being made to strengthen the prasad distribution system.
