Naib Subedar Sombir Singh and DySP Aman Thakur collaborated on operations in Kashmir post the 2019 Pulwama attack. A more significant attack, aimed at the Chief of the Army and the Defense Minister, was planned just 10 days later. Foreign terrorists, designated as Category ‘A++’, intended to hold hostages as part of their scheme. However, due to the relentless joint operations in the valley, led by Singh and Thakur, the plan was thwarted, saving numerous lives at the cost of their own.
