According to an estimate, around Rs 80 Crores of this budget of Jawan is spent on the salaries of Shah Rukh Khan and others.
On the other hand, Pathaan was made on a whopping budget of Rs 225 Crores. Clearly, the budget of Pathaan is Rs 25 Crores more than the budget of Jawan. Pathaan is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It has become a box office phenomenon to register the highest ever worldwide box office collection for an Indian movie. However, that statement is only true if we do not include the box office collection of Indian movies in China. Overall, the box office collection of Dangal is significantly more than Pathaan when the earnings of China are included.
Pathaan starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles. It also features a cameo from Salman Khan. Pathaan has earned a massive sum of around Rs 1100 Crores at the box office against a budget of Rs 225 Crores. Jawan will need to do better than this to beat Pathaan.
