    After the birth of children, some documents have to be prepared legally. One of these documents is the Birth Certificate. This certificate is used for admission in school-college for government and non-government works. Now the process of making a birth certificate is quite easy. You can easily get a child’s birth certificate made sitting at home. You can apply for it offline and online. In this article, we will let you know the step by step process of applying for online Birth Certificate.

    Along with offline application, online application is also necessary for birth certificate. For offline application, you will have to go to the government office. At the same time, for online application, you will have to go to the official website of the state’s civil services. To get offline and online birth certificate, you will have to submit some important documents.

    Documents Mandatory for Online Birth Certificate

    • Hospital’s birth letter provided
    • Parents’ Aadhaar card
    • Copy of marriage certificate
    • Ration card
    • Voter ID card
    • Address proof
    • Mobile number

    Process of Applying Online Birth Certificate

    1. First of all, go to the official website of the state’s civil services and select the option of General public sign up.
    2. Now a new page will open. Fill all the necessary information on this page and then click on Register.
    3. After this, you will get the user ID and password through message on the mail ID and mobile number.
    4. Now log in with the help of user ID and password and select the option of Birth Certificate.
    5. After this the form for application will open and you will have to fill the necessary information in it.
    6. After filling all the necessary information, you have to upload the necessary documents.
    7. After uploading the document, you have to submit it and then within about 1 week the birth certificate will be ready.
