If you are planning a trip to Europe and are facing difficulties in getting a visa, then this news is for you. If you wish to enjoy a European holiday without the hassle of a Schengen visa, Georgia can be a great option. Georgia has introduced a big facility for Indian tourists. The country will now allow Indian passport holders easier entry. If an Indian traveller has a valid visa or residence permit of the USA, UK, any Schengen country, or Japan, they can now visit Georgia without applying for a separate Georgian visa.

This new system will save Indian tourists from the visa hassle and is expected to attract more visitors from India to Georgia.

Indian citizens who do not have a visa for the USA, UK, Schengen countries, or Japan can still visit Georgia. They will need to apply through the country’s official visa application system. For this, they must provide a passport-size photo, a scanned copy of their passport, Aadhaar and PAN card, a contact number linked with Aadhaar, a recent bank statement, income tax returns for the last three years, and employment documents such as a salary slip or company ID. Authorities say that this process is being made faster and more reliable.

    Apply through the official platform

Indian tourists can now get a Georgian visa in three simple steps – visit the government’s e-visa portal, fill in the application form, pay the fee, and receive the visa. Officials in Tbilisi have advised travellers to use only the official website or authorised platforms for visa-related information and applications.

    Georgia is popular among tourists

Georgia is a country located between Europe and Asia, but it is often considered a European destination. The country is rapidly becoming popular for its scenic valleys, rich culture, and budget-friendly travel options. This facility aims to make Georgia even more tourist-friendly. Snow-covered mountains, ancient churches, world-famous wine regions, and the colourful capital city of Tbilisi make this country an easy and special European destination for Indian travellers.
