Kartik Aaryan has been one of the top choices for directors for quite some time now, thanks to his strong acting skills and the box office success of his past films. He already has several major projects lined up, including a film with Anurag Basu. Recently, Karan Johar also announced a film titled “Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Teri Tu Mera” with Kartik. Now, another exciting film has been announced, which is being called the most unique film of Kartik’s career—Naagzilla.
Kartik took to Instagram to share a motion poster of Naagzilla, revealing its title and theme. He wrote, “You’ve seen too many human stories, now get ready for a serpent tale. The first tale of Naaglok—I’m coming to spread some fun.” He also revealed his character’s name in the film.
First Look and Release Date of Kartik Aaryan’s Most Unusual Film Yet
The motion poster gives a glimpse of Kartik’s look, though his face isn’t revealed. Dressed in denim jeans, his body begins to transform into a serpent, with snakes wrapped around his arms and legs. In the movie, his character is named Priyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand. The film is set to release on 14 August 2026, which coincides with the festival of Naag Panchami.
The shoot hasn’t started yet, but Kartik will begin working on it soon. Naagzilla is being produced by Mahaveer Jain Films in collaboration with Dharma Productions and others. The story has been penned by Gautam Mehra, and Mrigdeep Singh Lamba is directing the project. Kartik seems to have already booked 14 August for a big release. Fans have seen him fighting ghosts like Manjulika before, but this time, he’s entering the mystical world of serpents. Fans are excited and calling this film a sure-shot blockbuster.
