Must-Have Bike Safety Features: Without These 3, Your Life is at Risk!

While car owners have access to numerous safety features, did you know that motorcycles also come equipped with several safety features for riders? If you’re not aware, this information can significantly enhance your bike travel safety.

What does ABS do in a bike?

ABS, or Anti-lock Braking System, is a safety feature provided in bikes. In cities, it’s common for something to suddenly come in front of a bike, causing the motorcycle to skid when trying to stop abruptly. ABS helps prevent this issue, though not all bikes are equipped with this feature.

    Understanding Combined Braking System (CBS)

The Combined Braking System offers excellent safety for bikes. This feature is applied to both wheels of the bike. The advantage is that pressing just the left brake will stop both wheels. Bikes without this feature have separate braking systems for each wheel, which can be quite dangerous.

    Benefits of Traction Control

Traction Control is most effective on wet roads. Bikes equipped with this feature are less likely to slip on rainy or muddy roads, as the Traction Control helps manage the bike’s grip. This feature also makes it easier for the rider to handle the bike, improving overall control.
