    Mira Kapoor, entrepreneur and wife of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, has officially launched Dhun Wellness Sanctuary in Mumbai’s bustling Bandra district, marking her second major business venture after the success of her skincare brand Akind. The 6,000-square-foot wellness center on Linking Road promises to bridge ancient healing wisdom with modern therapeutic technologies.

    A Vision Born from Personal Need

    The inspiration behind Dhun emerged from Kapoor’s personal journey toward wellness, particularly after becoming a mother. “It was a beautiful, yet humbling recalibration of everything I knew about health, energy, and identity,” she explained in a recent interview. The entrepreneur recognized a gap in the wellness market for accessible luxury treatments that don’t require people to disconnect from their daily lives.

    Dhun, which means “tune” or “melody,” represents Kapoor’s philosophy of bringing balance into urban living. As stated on the center’s website, “Dhun is where traditional wisdom meets modern convenience—a sanctuary offering a touch-led holistic approach to healing.”

    The wellness center’s grand opening attracted numerous Bollywood personalities, including legendary actress Rekha, filmmaker Karan Johar, Shahid’s parents Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak, and fashion designers Falguni and Shane Peacock. The launch coincided with Akshay Tritiya celebrations, featuring traditional rituals where Mira and Shahid broke coconuts at the entrance to mark the auspicious beginning.

    Healing Treatments: Traditional Ayurvedic therapies, sound healing sessions, and energy alignment practices designed to address root causes rather than symptoms.

    Recovery Services: Modern biohacking technologies including cryotherapy sessions, infrared saunas, and red light collagen treatments aimed at cellular renewal and performance enhancement.

    Rejuvenation Therapies: Luxury facial treatments by Biologique Recherche, Japanese lymphatic massages, and specialized pre-bridal rituals.

    The center’s signature seven-day programs focus on specific health concerns including gut restoration, sleep optimization, stress management, women’s health, and overall cleanse and reset protocols.

    Despite the wellness center’s holistic approach, it’s the pricing structure that has captured public attention and sparked widespread discussion online. The seven-day sleep program carries a price tag of ₹1.75 lakh, while shorter treatments range from ₹7,000 for a five-minute cryotherapy session to ₹15,000 for a 15-minute aura chakra scanner test.

    Social media users have expressed mixed reactions, with some calling the prices “exorbitant” and others questioning the accessibility of such luxury wellness services.
