Kushi starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, directed by Shiva Nirvana, will release worldwide in theatres on 23rd December 2022. The movie is announced to be a heartfelt romantic comedy shot in the beautiful valleys of Kashmir. The film will simultaneously release in four languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Vijar Deverakonda shared the first look at the film on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “An explosion of Happiness, laughter, Love and family bonding (with a red heart emoji). Samantha also shared the poster of the movie on her Twitter handle and wrote, “This Christmas- NewYears An Explosion of Joy, laughter, happiness & Love. A Grand Family experience! Kushi Telugu Tamil Kannada Malayalam Dec 23 Worldwide Release!”

Samantha is seen wearing a beautiful pink saree in the poster while Vijar Deverakonda is wearing a traditional Kashmiri outfit with a cigarette in his mouth. The actors have previously worked together in the film Mahanati as a supporting cast.
This will be the first time that they are being paired up as the main characters in a film. Nirvana, the director of the film, has helmed three movies so far in his career, including Ninnu Kori, Majili and Tuck. Samantha has already worked with Nirvana in Tuck.
Both actors and fans are excited about their next venture and hope that Kushi will light up the audience’s life this Christmas.
