KGF Chapter 2 has become a behemoth at the box office within 3 days of its release. The highly-anticipated film by Prashanth Neel is doing wonders with its grand storytelling and compelling characters. Fans eagerly wait for KGF Chapter 2 OTT release to witness the magnum opus at their homes.
KGF Chapter 2 OTT streaming rights:
Sources have confirmed that the thrilling action-drama will be released on Amazon Prime Video. The rights of KGF Chapter 2 were earlier speculated to be acquired by ZEE5. However, Amazon Prime offered a massive deal of ₹150 crores to bag the OTT streaming rights for the blockbuster movie ultimately. KGF Chapter 1 is also streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Release date:
As of now, there is no fixed release date for the movie. KGF Chapter has just released theatrically on 14 April 2022 and made more than ₹130 crores on the first day. The creators will look to maximise the profits from cinema viewing of the movie.
The film is expected to run its course in cinema theatres before making an appearance on the streaming platform. One can expect the KGF Chapter 2 OTT release date to be announced by Amazon Prime in the upcoming months.
KGF Chapter 2 Cast:
Yash reprises his role from the first film as Rocky Bhai, who has risen to the position of a leader in Kolar Gold Fields. Sanjay Dutt portrays Adheera, the main antagonist in the film, who goes against Rocky to establish control in Gold Fields. Raveena Tandon also plays a vital role as Indian Prime Minister, who is caught in the turbulent warfare at the Kolar Gold Fields.
Storyline:
The movie follows Rocky Bhai and Adheera’s conflict for conquering the Kolar Gold Fields. In Chapter 1, Rocky establishes total control over the people working in the Gold Fields by killing Garuda. People have started considering him as their leader and flag-bearer. This threatens his enemies, who seek help from a ruthless and destructive Adheera to put an end to Rocky’s reign.
The movie then delves deep into the conflict between the protagonist and the antagonist while exploring other significant relationships and implications. The mouth-watering climax of KGF Chapter 2 has already fuelled up the demands for KGF Chapter 3.
