Jio has recently rebranded its broadband service under the name Jio Home, which includes both JioFiber and JioAirFiber. As part of this rebranding, Jio has introduced a special annual broadband plan. This plan is available for both JioFiber and JioAirFiber users, allowing customers to choose it regardless of their connection type.
Jio’s entry-level broadband plan offers 30 Mbps speed and is available with or without OTT subscriptions. The standard monthly price is ₹399. However, choosing the plan for a longer duration can bring significant savings. If you recharge for a full year, Jio provides one extra month of broadband service at no additional cost. So instead of paying ₹399 per month for 12 months (a total of ₹4,788 + GST), users get 13 months of service. This brings down the effective monthly cost to ₹365 + GST.

The data limit varies depending on the type of connection. With JioAirFiber, the monthly high-speed data cap is 1TB (1000 GB), while JioFiber offers a much higher limit of 3TB (3000 GB) per month. This means JioFiber users can enjoy significantly more data each month.
If both JioFiber and JioAirFiber are available in your area, it is recommended to go with JioFiber. The data limit is higher, and the connection is generally more stable. This is because JioFiber uses wired technology to deliver internet, whereas JioAirFiber relies on wireless signals from towers. If given the choice, JioFiber is the more reliable and value-for-money option.
