Jio 5G Now Available in 257 Cities, Check if Your City is on the List

Jio 5G has reached Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand; Check if your city has got Jio 5G access!

Jio 5G network is widening its coverage across to India to realise the goal of serving 5G services in all the cities of India. Jio 5G coverage recently reached 21 more cities to include a total of 257 cities that has been included in the list of Jio 5G access. Ankleshwar, Bilaspur, Chhindwara, Akola, Rishikesh, Shimla, Ratlam, Rewa, Sagar, Bhilwara, Sri Ganganagar and many more are the new cities that have been added to the list of cities which have now got Jio 5G coverage.

Jio 5G is already available in the most of metro cities in India. Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru has access of Jio 5G network services from almost all corners of the city. Now, Jio 5G has reached parts of Uttarakhand, Himachala Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and more. Dubbed as the Jio True 5G, the network has the widest 5G reach in India, beating the likes of Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea.

How to Check If Your City has Access to Jio 5G?

You can easily check if Jio 5G is available in your city with a quick method. Below are the steps that you need to follow to check the availability of Jio 5G in your city:

  • Visit the official Jio Website
  • You will see a button of True 5G
  • Click on that button
  • Now scroll down to find the the text, ‘Jio True 5G is Live’
  • Below that text you will see a box which will have the text, ‘Let’s check the status of Jio True 5G in your city’
  • Now, select your state, and a pop-up window will appear in which you will see all the cities that have Jio 5G connectivity in your state
  • You will also see an option of show interest on that pop-up window
  • You can register with your mobile number by clicking on show interest to get the latest updates about Jio 5G in your city or area

How to Check if Your Device is Jio 5G Ready?

You can also check if your device will support Jio 5G by following the steps listed below:

  • Visit the official Jio Website
  • You will see a button of True 5G
  • Click on that button
  • Now scroll down to find the section where you will see the text, ‘Know if Jio True 5G will work on your device’
  • Below that text you will see a button with the text, ‘Check device compatibilty’
  • Click on that button and enter you phone details, including brand and the model number
  • This will show you if your device can access Jio True 5G services

Note: You don’t need to change you sim to get Jio 5G network services. If you already have a Jio SIM, then, you can use that to access 5G on your device.
