The announcement has been made that Tata IPL 2025 will resume. Starting on May 17, 2025, the tournament will run until the final on June 3, 2025, with a total of 17 matches played across 6 locations. The revised schedule includes two double-headers, which will take place on two Sundays. It is important to note that the IPL had been suspended due to the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made this decision after extensive discussions with the government and security agencies. With the consensus of all key stakeholders, it was decided that the remaining matches of the current season would be completed.
