IndiGo, India’s leading airline, has launched a new ‘Student Special’ program aimed at making air travel more affordable and convenient for students. This program offers exclusive discounts and added benefits when booking tickets through IndiGo’s website or mobile app.
The special fares focus on cost-effectiveness, flexibility, and comfort. Students booking through IndiGo’s official channels will benefit from the ability to modify their flight bookings without paying any modification charges, a feature designed to accommodate changing academic schedules.
Additional Benefits for Students Students can enjoy up to a 6% discount on the base fare of their flight tickets, along with an extra 10 kg of baggage allowance. This additional baggage allowance is intended to help students carry course materials and other essentials when traveling to their place of study. The offer is available on over 80 domestic destinations, including major cities like Goa, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria The offer is open to students over the age of 12, and they must present a valid student ID (such as a school or university ID) during check-in for verification. Failure to produce the required ID will result in the application of regular fares. The ‘Student Special’ offer is available exclusively for domestic flights and does not apply to international travel.
