Helluva Boss fans have waited a long time for this. Season 3 Part 1 premieres on October 14, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. The trailer promises more music, more chaos, and a lot more emotion than the show’s workplace comedy roots might suggest.
Release Schedule
The season is split into two parts. Part 1 begins with a three-episode drop, then continues with two episodes each week.
| Date | Episodes |
|---|---|
| October 14, 2026 | Episodes 1, 2, and 3 |
| October 21, 2026 | Two new episodes |
| October 28, 2026 | Two new episodes |
Reports say Part 1 has eight episodes, while this schedule lists seven. A final episode may land later, so check the official listing. Part 2 covers the remaining seven episodes and is expected in early 2027, which makes the full season 15 episodes. Fans are also tracking a YouTube release about 45 days after each Prime Video debut, but that is not officially confirmed.
Where the Story Left Off
Season 2 ended on a cozy note with the episode “Sinsmas,” but it left a lot unsettled. Stolas took the blame when Blitzo and his crew used the Grimoire without permission to travel to Earth. That saved everyone’s lives, but it cost Stolas his place among the Goetia nobility and his powers.
Blitzo has since been helping him adjust to life as a lower-ranking demon, and he may now become a regular at I.M.P. headquarters.
The other big reveal was Millie’s pregnancy. She chose to hide it from Moxxie for now, and the Season 3 trailer shows where that secret is heading.
Two Identity Crises at the Heart of Season 3
The trailer suggests this season is built on two very personal struggles. Stolas has spent his life either following his noble role or rebelling against it, and his romance with Blitzo was the biggest rebellion of all. Now that his old life is gone, he has to work out who he is without either one.
Millie faces a different problem. She loves danger, combat, and adventure, and she worries that pregnancy and motherhood will take that away. She also fears the people around her will expect her to change. These two storylines look set to overlap, especially as Stolas feels guilty about leaving his daughter Octavia behind.
More Than Just Angst
Fans should not worry that the show has lost its fun side. The trailer hints at travel between the rings of Hell, including the Envy ring, which has barely been seen before. Blitzo also gets a much needed day off with his childhood friend Fizzarolli, and the usual I.M.P. revenge missions are still on the menu.
Music and a Hazbin Hotel Surprise
The first song of the season is already out. “(I Don’t Want To Be) Nobody’s Baybay” is inspired by Madonna and Britney, and you can stream the full version now.
Creator Vivienne Medrano, known as Vivziepop, has also confirmed that Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel will cross over by the end of Season 3. That news came too late to affect the writing and voice acting in Part 1, but the animators added small Hazbin Hotel references.
One may already be in the trailer, where a window in the Envy Ring scene seems to show Lilith or Eve. It is worth pausing a few scenes to look for more.
Should You Watch It?
If you have followed the show from the start, this season looks like a big payoff. Long running tensions finally come to a head, and the trailer hints that some of the consequences could be permanent. For new viewers, the show works best if you catch up on Season 2 first.
If animation is not your only plan for the week, there is a very different option on JioHotstar. Spielberg’s Disclosure Day streams there from October 12, and it makes a good pairing for a weekend of screen time.
Helluva Boss Season 3 Part 1 premieres on Prime Video on October 14, 2026.
